Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids for Mary B. Ringheim, age 96, who passed away March 10, 2024, at The Gardens at Foley. The Rev. Virgil Helmin will officiate and burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Rice. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home.

Mary was born Jan. 14, 1928, in South Dakota to Wallace J. and Mary (Baldick) Harris. She married Alfred Maidl in Little Falls, and they were later divorced. Mary then married Del Ringheim. She lived in New Ulm and moved to Rice in 1969. Mary was the owner and operator of the restaurant in Rice for several years, and prior to that had Little Motors Inn Steakhouse in Cumberland, Wisconsin. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rice, Sauk Rapids VFW Post 6992 Auxiliary, and a former member of St. Cloud Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 622. Mary enjoyed puzzles, drawing and paintings. She was awesome, loving and a social person.

Survivors include her sons and daughters John Maidl of Sauk Rapids, Kathleen (William) Janski of Rice, Wallace Maidl of Rice, Richard (Rose) Maidl of Sartell, Robert (Asuncion) Maidl of Sauk Rapids, Leona Wagner of Rice, Mary Ann Yell of Sauk Rapids, Marlene Maidl of St. Cloud, and Lois (Ringheim) Boe of St. Cloud; 27 grandchildren; over 50 great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Del, son Jerry and one grandchild.
